It hasn’t even been a year yet and our relationship has already fizzled. I miss that passion we once had.
What happened to us?
They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. Apparently not with you. The greater the distance, the heavier the vapor of rejection. What happened to us?
Perhaps God saw it fit to separate what we thought would be a union…one man, one woman, maybe even some decimals amongst the years. God said a man plans his way, but it is Him who directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). Now…no chance of a union, at least not between you and me. What happened to us?
“Move on” they say. “Easier said than done”, I tell them. I only wish my heart would listen to my tears. Then,…maybe then will I be able to answer my own monotonous question…
